Robert Trail Library and License Center set to open Feb. 9
Eager Rosemount residents wanting to use the new Robert Trail Library and License Center, 14395 S. Robert Trail, only have a few weeks left to wait. The new 23,000 sq. ft. facility will open Monday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. for normal operations.
The library will open with a collection of 45,000 items that will include areas for children, young adults, adults, media and audiovisual, multipurpose rooms, computer spaces, and information and reference.
The license center will offer services such as title transfers and renewals, homestead applications, birth and death certificates, passport photographs, and others.
Library hours will be Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On Thursday, Feb. 12 an opening ceremony will be held at the library at 4:30 p.m. Mayor Bill Droste and Dakota County Commissioner Will Branning will speak during the open house. Cake and punch will be served.
