Robert David Wagner, 75, passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 7, 2009.
Robert was born Feb. 16, 1934 to Theodore and Elizabeth Hebert in Marshfield, Wis.
Robert married Florence Frodl on August 23, 1958 in Wausau, Wis.
Survivors include mother Elizabeth, his wife of over 50 years, Florence, children Kevin (Julie) Wagner, Theresa (Butch) Loftman, Ron (Denise) Wagner, JoAnn (Bob) Young, Rose (Andy) Galaway, Ken (Barb) Wagner, Glen (Jill) Wagner, 16 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his father.
Robert worked at the St. Paul Ford Assembly Plant for 38 years, retiring in 1991 as a Quality Control Inspector. He also drove a school bus for ISD 196 Rosemount-Eagan-Apple Valley School District for 13 years, served his country in the United States Army and Reserves from 1956-58, and also worked for the Mended Hearts group at the Minneapolis VA Hospital for 10 years.
Robert was a very active and involved father, and had a passion for crossword puzzles, camping, fishing, hiking, and woodworking.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne, Rosemount. Visitation was June 10 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, Apple Valley.
Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
