RHS dancers on stage this weekend

Lacy Knutson, Katie Markstrom, Kyle Weiler, Marissa Collins and Katie Retterath perform a piece from this weekend's dance show at Rosemount High School. The tap number features Weiler as a ladies' man who's perhaps not as smooth as he imagines himself to be.

Rosemount High School students are strapping their dancing shoes on tight this week in preparation for the school's annual dance show.

The dancers will be on the RHS Performing Arts Center stage at 7 p.m. March 13 and 14.

As usual, this year's show features a number of pieces choreographed by students. Styles range from hip-hop to modern to tap and there is a mix of serious and lighthearted numbers.

The show will close with the RHS Modern Dance Company debut of Wrath, a piece that will be part of the advanced dance company's upcoming benefit performance of the Seven Deadly Sins. That show will take place May 29 at RHS.
