Rash of car break-ins over the weekend
There were a bunch of not-very-productive car break-ins over the weekend in Rosemount.
The break-ins happened either late Saturday night or early Sunday morning in an area between County Road 42 and Connemara Trail west of Shannon Parkway. Police chief Gary Kalstabakken said there were about half a dozen cars broken into but there was very little taken.
At least some of the cars had been left unlocked. Kalstabakken recommended locking doors.
"That keeps a lot of people away," Kalstabakken said. "Lock your doors on your cars. Lock your doors on your house."
