Public Safety in the Park event aims to build community

Email

Generally when police and fire personnel come into contact with residents, it’s under crummy circumstances. It’s good, though, to get to know police officers and firefighters under non-stressful circumstances.

That’s the premise of Public Safety in the Park, said Rosemount police officer Beth Richtsmeier. The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. July 9 in Biscayne Park.

“It’s going to be a fun little event,” said Richtsmeier.
