However, the whereabouts of her first cousin, Wade Swenson, 38, of Hager City, Wis., is still unknown.

The pair had been traveling together. Wade Swenson is wanted in Pierce County (Wis.) on three outstanding warrants. Two of the warrants are for misdemeanors and one is for felony theft by fraud from February 2007.

Because of the ongoing investigation, Lovering would not comment on how the girl was found or where other than to acknowledge that it was someplace warm.

Christin worked weekends at an Econo Foods store in Red Wing, Minn. She was last reported leaving the store after work on the night of Dec. 14.

Wade Swenson lived at a residence in nearby Hager City. Authorities discovered that he had left the home the Monday following his cousin's disappearance.

Law enforcement officials reported that Christin Swenson had been interviewed the week prior to her disappearance before about a possible assault crime.
