Military notes

Privates First Class David and Robert Susterick of Rosemount have completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training for the North Dakota Army National Guard.

Together, they attended Basic Combat Training for 10 weeks at Fort Jackson, S.C., and then continued on to Advanced Individual Training, which consisted of military occupational schooling which was in Fort Lee, Va. They graduated together Nov 12, 2013.

Prior to their training, Sustericks were assigned to the Recruit Training Company in Fargo, N.D., which prepared them for their military training by teaching basic combat and soldier tasks. Since the completion of their training, David has been assigned to 134th Quartermaster Detachment in Cavalier and Robert has been assigned to 132nd Quartermaster Company, both as water treatment specialists.

The brothers’ parents are Matthew and Karen Susterick of Rosemount.

Both Sustericks plan on attending the University of North Dakota to further their education.
