Marvin Frank Mester, 75, of Casa Grande, Ariz., died Saturday, May 10.

Services will be at a later date in Amarillo, Texas.

Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo.

After a short battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Marvin was born July 9, 1938, in South Saint Paul, Minn., to Frank and Anna Mester. He graduated from Farmington High School in Farmington, Minn. Marvin married Janet Evonne Brusven on April 18, 1959, in St. Paul. He was the owner and operator of Mester's Auto Sales and Salvage, Amarillo, Texas. Marvin was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle rider, antique toy collector and was a member of antique tractor clubs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna (Schleh) and Frank Mester; and a brother, Roger Mester.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Evonne Mester; daughters, Renee Dawn Mester Friemel and husband Stephen, and Sandra Kay Mester, all of Amarillo, Texas, and Sharon Lynn Mester Watson and husband Chad of Bushland, Texas; a son, Randy Keith Mester and wife SuLynn of Childress; grandchildren, Bradley Walker, Kristen Hughes, Jessie Casey, Stephanie Friemel, Ty Watson and Madison Watson; a great-grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
