Legion on the verge of victories

Email

Great pitching usually isn't a characteristic of a team riding a seven-game losing streak.

But that's just the case for the Rosemount Legion Post 65 baseball team. Since opening the season with wins of 4-1 and 3-2, Rosemount has lost its last seven games -- including four by scores of 3-2, 2-1, 1-0 and 4-3 -- in the last 10 days. The last four setbacks came over the weekend at the Moose Country Challenge in Mendota Heights.
