A good year for new owners of embroidery shop
In one form or another there has been an embroidery and screen printing business at 15225 Carrousel Way for many years. It has just changed hands a few times.
The most recent owners have worked at the business for years and last year purchased the business. Jon Mastel, Mike Aug and Adam Kurth took over the business more than a year ago and changed the name to 3 Guys Sewing. The shop was formerly called Sundantz Creations.
“We had a good year,” said Mastel.
The business offers embroidery and screen printing. The shop creates promotional products for teams, businesses, churches and more.
Mastel said after working for other people for years, it’s nice to work for themselves. Their first year as business owners was a busy one and Mastel said 2014 is setting up to be busy as well.
Mastel said much of their work comes through word of mouth. Specifically, he said they make clothing for many of the high school teams around the area.
While many people come in with specific designs, Mastel said they can help create custom designs as well. The business uses computerized machinery to do much of the work. However, Mastel said there is skill to it.
Having worked in the business for years, Mastel said they have perfected their craft. He encouraged people to try them out.
