Schow, a freshman, finished sixth in the 100 hurdles in her first career state meet. Her 15.15 clocking supplied four points as the Irish placed 45th out of 68 scoring teams with six points.

The other two points came from Phillips, a senior, who placed eighth in the 300 hurdles in 46.43 seconds.

Schow just missed the finals in the 200, where she placed 10th in a time of 25.63 seconds. Senior Natalie Busher added a 10th-place finish in the high jump, where she cleared 5 feet, 2 inches, and came in 11th in the triple jump at 35-3.

Junior Katie Duff added a 14th-place spin of 124-3 in the discus.
