Sawyer Murray won the dive to secure Rosemount's second first-place finish in the meet's fifth event, and the Irish went on to claim victory in seven of the meet's final eight events en route to a 91-87 victory.

"We had a great meet last night," said Rosemount coach Tami Carlson, whose team improved to 3-0 in dual meets. "The girls did very well since we have been swimming and lifting hard... The girls are continually dropping times and seeing great results from all their hard work."

Megan Wenman was part of four first-place finishes for the Irish. She won the 200 individual medley and 100 freestyle, then joined Beth Wenman, Teija Normandeau and Olivia Johnston for a winning swim in the 200 freestyle relay. Wenman closed out the meet by teaming up with Elyse Griffith, Claire Tolan and Johnston for a first-place showing in the 400 freestyle relay.

Other first-place finishes came from Tolan in the 500 freestyle, Griffith in the 100 backstroke and Beth Wenman in the 100 breaststroke. Tolan added a second-place showing in the 200 freestyle.

Other second-place medals went to Griffith in the 200 individual medley, Kristina Terhaar in the 1-meter dive and Johnston in the 500 free.

The Irish also placed second in a pair of relays, the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.

The Irish are back at home tonight when they host Prior Lake at 6 p.m.
