Girls soccer: Offense comes alive
The Rosemount girls soccer team's offense finally started producing in the second half Thursday afternoon in Eagan, just in time to put an end to the Irish's five-game losing streak.
The Irish had scored just two total goals in its previous 5 1/2 games before it put two balls into the back of the net after the halftime break. Eagan responded with two goals of its own and the two South Suburban Conference teams battled through two scoreless overtime periods to a 2-2 tie.
