Girls soccer: Goals pile up against International School of Minnesota

The Rosemount girls soccer team couldn't make an early goal stand in last Tuesday's loss to Shakopee at Irish Stadium.

Sophomore Kaylie Hanson found the net on a cross from Marisa Knott 35 seconds in, then the Irish were held scoreless over the next 79-plus minutes of an eventual 2-1 non-conference loss to Shakopee. The teams have proved evenly matched in recent years, splitting a pair of one-goal games and a tie in their last three meetings.
