Girls lacrosse: Irish drop four

The girls lacrosse team has lost their first four games of the season.

The Rosemount girls lacrosse team fell behind 12-5 by halftime and couldn't make up ground in the second half of a 15-9 South Suburban Conference loss to the Eagles Monday night at Apple Valley.

It was the fourth straight loss to start the season for the Irish, who lost a 16-15 heartbreaker at home to Prior Lake last Thursday. Sydney Lubeley scored a season-high six goals in that contest and Maddie Johnson had four.

Angela Bodine added a hat trick and Madi Lubeley scored twice.

Alexis Raeth stopped eight Prior Lake shots.
