Wrestling sign up
Rosemount Wrestling Sign-Ups are now open.
Any wrestler in grades k-8 can now sign up on line at www.athletechs.com
All the information for the program will be listed on the above website.
Practice starts on Nov. 6th at the Rosemount High School wrestling room.
Wrestling sign ups will remain open for two weeks past the first practice date.
Legion craft sale
The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold a craft and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Nov. 8 in the Legion's hall. The event will feature a variety of vendors selling homemade and retail items. The bake sale will feature homemade baked items. The Legion is located at 14590 Burma Avenue. Coffee with a cop
Rosemount police officers will be available to answer questions and clarify issues weekly at area coffee shops.
On Thursday, Nov. 13 an officer will be present at the Rosemount Dunn Brothers, 15023 Crestone Ave., from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Rosemount youth in grades sixth through eighth who attend school in Rosemount or live within Rosemount City boundaries are invited to attend the monthly-supervised teen night Nov. 14 at the Rosemount Community Center. Teen Night is a safe environment where youth can socialize and interact with each other in a positive way. Activities include music, games, and open gym.
Cost is $2. Teen Night starts at 6:30 and runs until 9 p.m.

RAAC presents Mousetrap
The Rosemount Area Arts Council will present Applause Theater's production of The Mousetrap Nov. 14-16 at the former St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Highway 3. The show, an Agatha Christie mystery, is the longest-running show in the history of London's West End theater district. It will be on stage in Rosemount at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14 and 2 p.m Nov. 15 and 16. RUMC holiday bazaar
Rosemount United Methodist Holiday Bazaar
As it has done for the last 30 years or so Rosemount United Methodist, 14470 Canada, will host its annual bazaar. The event, which goes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature a soup luncheon including an Eleven bean and ham soup and turkey and rice soup with homemade pie slices.
Various vendors will sell an assortment of items including beauty products, candles and food. In addition crafters will sell their wares. Quilts made by Piecemakers will be available to purchase.
Two quilts also will be auctioned off. One of the quilts was sewn by Jamaican women the church supports. Part of the proceeds from the auction will go back to those women.
The Children's Store will be open from 9 a.m. to noon where children can shop for Christmas gifts for their families. A craft center will also be set up for kids.
Proceeds will benefit the United Methodist Women who support various programs throughout the year including missions around the world.

Our Savior holiday bazaar
For the second year in a row Lutheran Church of Our Savior, corner of County Road 42 and Diamond Path, will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to benefit youth.
The bazaar will feature vendors selling items such as beauty products, gift items and unique edibles. Crafts will be available as will homemade baked goods.
