Guitar Hero at the library

Teens can play Guitar Hero on the big screen at the Robert Trail Library from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, March 27 The library is located at 14395 South Robert Trail. For more information call 651-480-1200.

Lacrosse fundraiser

The Rosemount High School boys Lacrosse team will hold a fundraiser from noon to 4 p.m. March 28 at Buffalo Wild Wings in Apple Valley. A portion of food purchases will go to support the team.

Remedy Drive concert

The Rosemount United Methodist Church youth ministry will host the Christian rock band Remedy Drive on its "Daylight is Coming" tour at 7 p.m. March 29. Remedy Drive is a four-piece band of brothers from Lincoln, Neb. For more information, call the church at 651-423-2475.

Baseball fundraiser

The Rosemount High School baseball team will sell water softener salt from March 30 through April 13 as a spring fundraiser. Salt will be delivered by a baseball player April 25.

DCTC college showcase

Dakota County Technical College will hold its sixth annual college showcase from 5:30 to 8 p.m. April 1. Residents can explore DCTC and learn about education opportunities. Sixteen nearby restaurants will provide samples and visitors will have a chance to win scholarships.

The technical college is located at 1300 145th St. E.

If the Dead Could Talk

The Robert Trail Library will present, If the Dead Could Talk, a presentation from a medical examiner, from 3 to 5 p.m. April 3.

Fish fry

The Rosemount Knights of Columbus will hold their annual fish fry following St. Joseph's Community Church 5:30 p.m. Lenten services April 3 at St. Joseph's School, 14355 South Robert Trail. Service begins at 5:45 p.m. A free will offering will be accepted.
