Fishing Derby

Kids 13 and under can participate in the free fishing derby at Schwarz Pond, behind Rosemount High School. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Fishing starts at 10 a.m. Bring canned food for food shelf.

Summer Classic Challenger

The tennis tournament will be held at the Rosemount High School tennis courts. Kids ages 10 to 18 will play.

Battle of the bands

Teen bands will battle it out at the Central Park Ampitheater from 7 to 10 p.m. To pre-register call 651-322-6003. Sponsor Rosemount Lions Club will sell hot dogs and beverages.

July 25

Puppets in the park

The parks and recreation department will hold its puppet in the park performances.

Performances will be in the following locations: Camfield Park 9:30 a.m., Connemara Park 10:15 a.m., Bloomfield Park 11 a.m. and Jaycee Park 11:45 a.m.

Steak fry under the stars

The American Legion will host a steak fry starting at 5 p.m. until gone. Live music will be performed from 7:30 to 11 p.m.

Mid-Summer Faire

Amusement rides, games and food will take over Central Park from 5 to 11 p.m.

Rock, paper scissors tournament

The Rosemount High School Irishettes will host competitions throughout the evening at their booth during the Mid-Summer Faire.

Leprechaun Days entertainment

Casablanca Orchesta will perform from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Central Park Ampitheater.

July 26

Car wash

The Rosemount High School Girls Varsity Hockey team will hold a car wash from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rosemount Goodyear. The girls will even vacuum out vehicles. Suggested donation for the car wash is $10

Grand Day Parade

The Grand Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. Residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the local food shelf.

Students will push carts along the parade route to collect the donations.

Lightin' up the Leprechaun

Lighthouse Community Church will host a block party after the parade. Free food, prized and kids games will be available. For more infomation visit www.worldwidelighthouse.com.

The Dweebs will perform from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Central Park Ampitheater.

July 27

Open Skate

The Rosemount Girls Varsity Hockey team will host a free open skate for girls from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Alumni game

The Rosemount High School girls hockey program will host its annual Leprechaun Days alumni game from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Rosemount Ice Arena. Any former Rosemount High School girl hockey players can participate. Free admission to watch the game. For more information contact Landon Vath at 612-308-7731.
