Even with snow, annual egg hunt returns March 23

Easter comes early this year, which means there may be snow on the ground for the annual Rosemount Lions Club Egg Hunt. But unless there's a lot of it falling from the sky, the show will go on.

The egg hunt will start promptly at 10 a.m. March 23 at the Ames Soccer Complex on the Dakota County Technical College campus. Parks supervisor Lisa Maurer said residents should show up early or they may leave disappointed.

"It's a lot of fun but it's a short event," said Maurer.
