Dakota County residents can drop-off hazardous waste in Farminton

There will be a free hazardous waste drop-off day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 in Farmington.

Dakota County residents can safely dispose of unwanted paints, solvents, household chemicals, fluorescent light bulbs, used oil, oil filters, automotive batteries and household electronics.

The drop-off, provided by the Farmington City Council and the Dakota County Board of Commissioners, will take place at the Farmington Maintenance Facility, 19650 Municipal Drive. Proof of Dakota County residency is required.
