Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the Empire Transportation Facility at 2800 160th Street West, Rosemount, MN until 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at which time they will be opened and read aloud for the following County project:
County Project 62-22, S.A.P. 019-662-008; Sidewalk Replacement, Pedestrian Curb Ramps, and Drainage Improvements on County State Aid Highway 62 (Main Street) from CSAH 66 to east of Shady Avenue in Vermillion.
Major quantities of work on CSAH 62 include: 600 cubic yards of aggregate base; 700 linear feet of concrete curb & gutter; 17,000 square feet of concrete walk; 11,700 square feet of colored concrete walk; 280 linear feet of RC pipe sewer; 24 linear feet of drainage structures; 160 tons of bituminous patching; and 400 square yards of sodding.

Bids will be accepted by either paper form (hard copy) or electronic submittal.
It is anticipated that a contract to perform the work will be awarded by resolution of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners at the County Board meeting scheduled for July 8, 2014.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or corporate surety bond, made in favor of Dakota County in an amount of at least five (5) percent of the amount bid. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein.
