Christian musician will perform at Lighthouse Christian Church

The music community is small,l and being part of it can lead to some neat opportunities. Last year, Josh Edwards, from Lighthouse Christian Church, sang backup vocals on Staci Frenes’ album, Everything You Love Comes Alive.

Frenes is a Christian singer/songwriter out of California. Their connection is Nate Sabin, who produced records for both musicians.

“She’s an all-around good musician and a great songwriter,” said Edwards.

Frenes is coming to Minnesota to do some tour dates and while she’s here Edwards thought it would be neat to get her to Rosemount. He made the request, and Frenes agreed to make several appearances at the church.

She will be the musical guest at the 6 p.m. Nov. 16 service and the 10 a.m. Nov. 17 service at Lighthouse Christian Church. She will also play a show at Westwood Community Church in Excelsior.

For those in the general public who would like to see her, Frenes will perform solo Nov. 21 at Lighthouse Christian Church. The concert will be held in the Common Grounds Coffeehouse, located in the front lobby of Lighthouse. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and music will start at 7.

Tickets are $5 in advance and are available at the church. At the door, cost will be $8.
