Changes coming for city departments

With several long time employees leaving, the Rosemount City Council has some thinking to do. It started that process last week during a work session.


Last week it was announced that police chief Gary Kalstabakken and operations superintendent Rick Cook were retiring. Both will work their last day with the city May 31.

During its May 9 work session the city council appointed Lt. Jewel Ericson as interim police chief and Jim Koslowski as interim operations superintendent.
