Busy week for events in Rosemount, check out all the fun things coming up
Mystery Dinner Theater
The Rosemount Area Arts Council will host their annual Mystery Dinner Theater at 6 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Steeple Center. The year performers will put on “The Return of Diamond Jim Brady.” Tickets will be $39 a person. Proceeds help RAAC put on their many events throughout the year. Swing dance event
Enjoy an evening of swing dancing and Big Band music from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Rosemount Community Center. The event will begin with a swing dance lesson from 6 to 7 p.m. and then the Hiawatha Hep Cats will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost for the event is $8 per person. The Rosemount Area Arts Council and the Rosemount Youth Commission have partnered to put on the event.
Comedy at the Steeple Center
Several comedians will grace the stage of the Steeple Center from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 25. The PG-rated comedy show will feature Dennis Carney, William Hill and Pizpor the Magician. Cost is $5 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance on the Rosemount Area Arts Council’s website www.rosemountarts.com or at the Front Porch.

Wild game dinner
The Southern Dakota County Sportsman’s Club will hold its 32nd annual wild game dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Rosemount American Legion. The menu for the dinner will include beaver, turtle soup, salmon, raccoon, pheasant, bear and more. Discount tickets are available through Jan. 18.
