The Rosemount boys track and field team defended its True Team section title by winning this season's championship last week at Apple Valley.
The Irish scored 934 points, beating second-place Prior Lake's 682.5 points. Rosemount competes in the True Team state meet Friday in Stillwater.
In last week's meet, Zach Vraa, Andrew Anderson and Andrew Hausmann finished 3-4-6, respectively, in the 100-meter dash.
Hausmann won the 200 with Goaner Deng placing second and Myles Phillips taking fourth. Deng won the 400 with Hausmann crossing the line in second and Chris Mergens placing sixth.
In the 800, Kyle Mills finished second, followed by Shane McCallum in third. Jonathan Sampers placed fifth. McCallum was second in the 1,600 while Sampers was fifth.
Vraa won the 100 and 300 hurdles. Tyler Rich was third in the 100 hurdles. Conor Manning was third in the 300 hurdles with Max Busher taking fifth.
Rosemount won the 4x200 and 4x800 relays.
Jordan Maeck was second in the high jump with Mitch Leko taking third. Leo Lakpa was third in the long jump. Hausmann took second in the triple jump with Marius Lewis finishing fourth.
Jake Nelson finished third in the pole vault with Tony Marthaler placing sixth.
Brandt Berghuis won the shot put and discus events. Joe Bjorklund finished second in the shot put, while Joe Malicki took fifth. Ben Rossini placed third in the discus.
