Rosemount made its final South Suburban Conference game against ninth-ranked (Class 2A) Bloomington Jefferson a memorable one Monday night at Irish Stadium.

The Irish got a goal from Kohl Sparrman (assist from Andrew Weiler) and made it stand in their first win over Jefferson in at least five years. The Jaguars, coming off a 16-5 season and a second-place finish in the SSC, will depart for the new Metro West Conference beginning next fall.
