Goaltender Tom Fraune stopped all 28 shots that came his way and the Rosemount boys hockey team won for the sixth time in eight games with a 4-0 shutout of Apple Valley Saturday at Rosemount Community Center.

Lukas Gillett was the first of three Irish players to find the net, scoring on the power play 4:39 into the first period. Justin Crowell and Andy Glad provided assists.

Ryan Foley scored later in the period on a pass from Mason Hille to make it 2-0 after one, and then netted his second goal on the power play 9:53 into the third period. Charlie Monn and Crowell assisted.

Nick Peterson scored Rosemount’s fourth goal in the closing minutes, with assists from Peyton Norder and Tyler Frank.

The Irish outshot visiting Eastview 31-28 last Tuesday, but the Lightning held on for a 3-2 overtime victory.

Rosemount goaltender Nick Hart held Eastview scoreless over the next 28-plus minutes before the Lightning knocked in the game-winner. Hart finished with 25 saves.
