Bomb threat forces closure at Walgreens
A bomb threat forced the closure of the Rosemount Walgreens late Wednesday morning.
Rosemount police received the threat at 11:55 a.m. Sept. 4 and as a precautionary measure evacuated the store and secured the immediate area. The Dakota County Sheriff's Department, the Minnesota State Patrol, Health East Ambulance, Rosemount Fire, Health East Ambulance and a K9 unit from the Airport Police Department also responded.
No explosive devices were found. The Apple Valley Police Department received a similar call shortly before the Rosemount call.
Police are investigating the incident.
