Another successful swim
For the third straight year, a group of Rosemount students will hand over a big check to help with muscular dystrophy research. Rosemount High School freshmen Dana Thibodo, Maggie Moeller, Anna Peterson, Anna Wise, Lizzie Johnson and Katie Turner held their third annual swim marathon Saturday and Sunday and collected nearly $21,934 for muscular dystrophy research. In three years the project has brought in more than $50,000.
The girls held their first swim marathon when they were in seventh grade as a project for the DestiNation ImagiNation academic competition. They no longer compete in DI, but have continued the fundraiser.
