Absentee voting under way until Aug. 13

Absentee voting has begun for Rosemount's primary election. City clerk Amy Domeier said eligible voters who can't get to the polls on election day can cast their ballots now.

"It's nice that people can still vote even if they can't get to the polls," said Domeier.

Absentee voters have several options for filling out a ballot. They can vote in person at city hall or by mail. Absentee voters must fill out an application, which is available on the city's website.
