145th Street closed for the weekend east of city hall
Emergency railroad repairs will close down a portion of 145th Street West over the weekend. City engineer Phil Olson said the railroad contacted the city stating the need to do some emergency repairs to the crossing and replace a section of the track.
The street will be closed to the east of Rosemount City Hall from 5 p.m. Oct. 26 until 5 p.m. Oct. 28. Detour signs will be posted on Highway 3 and Biscayne Avenue, according to a press release from the city. The street will be open to local traffic on either side of the railroad tracks.
