New pet grooming salon opens in downtown

Russell Pyle has been grooming animals for six years. He recently opened Bark-N-Bubble, a pet grooming service, next to Rosemount Floral.

Russell Pyle loves animals. The new owner of Bark-N-BubblePet Grooming Services has six dogs, two cats and a macaw of his own.

As a pet groomer Pyle shows the same love to his customers' pets as he does his own.

Pyle opened Bark-N-Bubble Dec. 1 in downtown Rosemount. Bark-N-Bubble is located at 14505 Robert Tr. The business offers full service pet grooming services for dogs and cats including bathing, haircuts, teeth cleaning, nail trimming and more. Bark-N-Bubble will also sell a variety of pet products including cleaning products, collars, leashes, and more.

"I like to see the finished product. Seeing the final product is my reward," said Pyle.

Pyle has been a groomer for six years. He started his career at Pet Smart and has worked for various other groomers in the metro area. A few years ago, Pyle started a mobile grooming company called Bark-N-Bubble. The goal of the business was to reduce the stress animals go through by bringing the grooming services to them.

Overhead for the mobile grooming proved too costly to keep up, though, so when the former Paws Appeals space opened in Rosemount, he decided to try to make a go of it as a shop.

Dedicated to the health and safety of the animals, Pyle said he uses all natural products. For older animals or those who have mobility issues, Pyle installed a ramp to help them into the tub. He also works to make his shop as stress free as possible for the animals.

Pyle said he's excited to open the grooming salon in Rosemount because it's a nice, inviting community. Having worked in the community before, Pyle said it's been nice to see some familiar faces.

So far Pyle said business has been surprisingly good and as his name gets out there he hopes he'll get busier.

Pyle will accept walk-ins but appointments are preferred. Call 651-200-2256 for an appointment.
