Shannon Park Elementary Principal Erik Davis fulfilled a promise to sleep overnight on the school roof after students raised over $25,000 for the school through a “Reading Rocks” program that promotes literacy. Davis headed to the roof as students left school Wednesday, Oct. 4, interacted with families and visitors throughout the evening and then greeted students arriving at school the next morning.
